It is with great sadness that we write this tribute to Layton Darwood, one of our reception children who sadly died on Monday 24th August 2020. We send our heartfelt condolences to Layton’s family and friends.

Layton was a happy, popular little boy, who wanted to join in with everything. He loved listening to stories and enjoyed breaktimes playing football with his large group of friends. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by so many at Hilton.

My thoughts are with all who knew him at this very sad time. We are currently considering how best to commemorate his life and these details will be shared with the school community at a later date.
