Northern Education Trust are outcomes focused, child centred.

We are unswerving in our commitment to ensure that the outcomes our young people secure prepare them fully for life beyond school. Our Academies are happy and thriving communities where children both achieve and feel safe and cared for. As an inclusive Trust we strive to help young people overcome any barrier to learning. We are a caring employer and invest heavily in professional development, allowing our staff opportunities to take the next steps in their career.

We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.

Year 2-6 hometime routine

Reminder: Year 2 children are dismissed at 3pm. Staff will call for the parents of Year 2 children to come up the terrace first to collect their children. Parents in Year 3-6 must wait until they are called by staff at 3.05pm.
Hometime runs this way to ...safeguard some of our youngest children in Year 2. They are the smallest and have the furthest to walk!

Thank you for your understanding.

Amazing news!
We were delighted to welcome Children North East back into our academy yesterday. During our Colour Run we fundraised for this brilliant local charity and we asked children to be sponsored to take part in the run. We are so pleased to announce that we raised a total of £1200. ...This money will be be used to help so many children across the North East but also right here in our community.
Congratulations go to Myla, who raised the most money in school! She was lucky to receive her own special prize too.
Thank you to everyone who got involved. It was a brilliant day but it is lovely to know that the money raised will change lives.
Thank you!

Peter Rabbit Trail -Tales on the Tyne

We are so proud of our Peter Rabbit which our school helped to create. If any families spotted our rabbit, took part in the Tales on the Tyne trail and took photographs then we would love it if you could shared them with us. Many children have ...talked about seeing the many different rabbits when they have been out and about during the summer break. If you have any photographs which you would like to share which show your child/children following the trail we'd love to see them! Please email any photographs to the following email address:

Peter Rabbit!

We are proud to share our Peter Rabbit which has been unveiled and stands proudly next to the monument in Newcastle city centre. Pupils from Year 4 and 5 worked with the artist Daniel J Weatheritt to design Peter as part of the Tales on the Tyne project. Together they ...explored the beauty and movement of water and worked collaboratively to produce this stunning design. We especially love his Hilton shoes! These beautiful rabbits will help to raise money for St Oswald's Hospice which does such important work in out region.

Take a look at the website for more information.
